Not even a few months have passed, and the rescuers have come up with another creative idea – animated safety films for children, "The Magic Book," by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Not even a few months have passed, and the rescuers have come up with another creative idea – animated safety films for children, "The Magic Book," by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
To teach children safe behaviour, to explain simple but very important truths, to convey to children that they need to be careful and attentive, to protect their lives and health – this is how the rescuers briefly explain the purpose of creating the cartoons.
The target audience for which it was developed can be designated as 4+. Memorable characters, bright animation, a dynamic and instructive plot – all means were used to make the cartoon interesting for children. However, it should be added that it is also excellent for family viewing, as the safety stories will be useful for parents who, together with their children, will learn how to properly use electrical appliances, what the dangers of thin ice are, how to call rescuers, what to do if a fire breaks out at home, how to use pyrotechnics, and much more.
The main characters are forest dwellers – a hare, a beaver, a wolf, and a bird. The cute and very likeable characters find themselves in various emergency situations because they, like ordinary people, can break safety rules or not know them at all. The little animals experiment, try to figure things out, and learn to behave correctly. And they are helped in this by a magic book, which the clever beaver never parts with. It is this book that prompts the friends on how to act in one situation or another, how to avoid trouble, and always helps them make the right decision.
Each episode of the animated series focuses on a specific topic, chosen deliberately. Children's mischief with fire, dangerous places for games, behaviour near water bodies in winter and summer, rules of conduct in nature – all these pose risks to children in real life. This is precisely why the creators have strived to emphasize these aspects and, through the animated series, teach children safety rules, explaining that this knowledge helps to avoid many troubles in life and teaches them to be cautious. The animated series consists of 10 episodes; work is currently ongoing, and it will soon be supplemented with new safety stories.
