For example, students of the art department of the children's art school gladly talk about their cherished desires. However, they express their thoughts not with words, but with colours and on canvas. The Eiffel Tower and scarlet sails, sailing away into the sunset, – the young artists have exhibited more than one "Dream" at the "ART Lepel" gallery. By tradition, at the last exhibition of the academic year in the foyer of the central district library, teachers and children gathered to sum up the results. Different techniques, different genres… There is also graphics, thread collages, and watercolour paintings, still lifes, and self-portraits… The subjects also surprise with their diversity. For instance, Anastasia Basak clearly conveyed the character of a capricious girl: a white cat on a leash, a red dress, stiletto heels, an index finger pointing towards a modest boy. Looking at this painting "Let's Be Friends" – you understand that friendship is unlikely to work out…
- This year my students worked on historical works in graphic technique, - says Alexander Savchenko. – Next year, we will try something more creatively free than drawing from life.
Six classes and fifty students… At the exhibition of the best of them, the head of the art department of the Children's Art School, Marina Budrevich, presents certificates. This year, there are only three graduates, two of whom will continue their studies after graduation on a cost-recovery basis.
At the exhibition, they also remember the successes of their students. For example, the works of Anastasia Shcherbach and Daria Simako reached the finals of the XIII International Festival of Children's Creativity "Golden Bee". Nastya fantasized on the theme of fairy-tale animals, and Daria, a current graduate, made a thread collage.
These paintings could not be seen: they were sent to a competition in the town of Klimovichi. However, Daria showed her other work "Night": a huge moon is hiding behind the branches of a tree. It turns out that the collage "Sunset", which passed the selection for the festival, repeats this composition, only executed in different colours.
The students were congratulated on the opening of the exhibition not only by their teachers but also by the staff of the district library, who presented the children with a large pie. The students also said a friendly "thank you" to their mentors.
