A meeting was held at the Lepel ROChS as part of the Unified Information Day with Svetlana Sheveleva, Head of the Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the District Executive Committee. The main topic was economic security as a key condition for the sustainable development of the Belarusian state.

Svetlana Sheveleva began her presentation with a quote from the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko: "For three decades now, a socially oriented economy has been the foundation of our state policy. This policy is successful. The people support it. According to all indicators characterizing social equality, Belarus is among the most prosperous countries... Positive trends in industry are ensured by the implementation of new technologies in production and the release of new, innovative, import-substituting products.
In January-September 2023, import-substituting products worth US$3.2 million were produced, which is 183.2 percent of the annual target. The production was carried out for two product items (construction mortars and concretes, and waterproofing blocks) by LLC "Unified Trading System-Sintez".
In January-September of the current year, investments in fixed assets amounted to 52.7 million rubles.
A number of investment projects are being implemented in the Lepel district, including one
