Issues of elderly care will be discussed at the republican methodological council in Postavy, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee informed a BELTA correspondent.
The meeting of the republican methodological council on improving social services and introducing innovative social work technologies in social service institutions will be held on August 25 and will be dedicated to the organization of elderly care in territorial centers for social services of the population (TSSON) of the Vitebsk region.
For this purpose, participants will familiarize themselves with the work of round-the-clock and day care departments for the elderly in the urban settlement of Lyntupy and Postavy. At the plenary session, their attention will focus on issues of providing day care services in territorial centers for social services of the population (TSSON), dementia prevention, and various aspects of scientific and methodological support for territorial centers.
It is planned that the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection, Alexander Rumak, will take part in the council's work.
