On 10 September 2019, a joint meeting of the Presidium of the Lepel District Council of Deputies and the Lepel District Executive Committee considered issues of ensuring the well-being of the population of the Gorsky Village Council. Representatives of the authorities studied the issues and problems raised by citizens during meetings with the public. Primarily, the issues raised by citizens concern the improvement of the territories of rural settlements, repair of street lighting, cleaning of entrances, and improvement of water supply quality. Specific instructions were given to the responsible services of the district for all the problems raised.
Participants in the meeting of the Presidium of the District Council of Deputies heard and discussed the report by Svetlana Mikhailovna Polyachenko, Head of the Economics Department of the Lepel District Executive Committee, "On the State and Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in the Lepel District," and the report by Tatyana Nikolaevna Chesnokova, Deputy Chairperson of the Commission for Juvenile Affairs, "On the Work of the Commission for Juvenile Affairs in Preventing Juvenile Delinquency."
Meeting participants visited facilities in the Gorsky Village Council: the soft toy production workshop of OOO "Fabrika Igrushek" (Toy Factory LLC), the iron removal station in the settlement of Zaslonovo, the territory of the state educational institution "Zaslonovo Kindergarten of the Lepel District," the catering unit and canteen of the state educational institution "Zaslonovo Secondary School of the Lepel District," the training building of the training ground of military unit No. 71327, and the children's playground in the agro-town of Gorki.
