The Pridvinskaya Residence of Ded Moroz (Father Frost) will open in a forest near Vitebsk on December 16, as reported to a BELTA correspondent by Alexander Kazyuchits, Head of the Agitation and Propaganda Department of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

The New Year project is implemented by the Department of Education, Sports and Tourism of the Vitebsk District Executive Committee in conjunction with the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, based at the "Spartakovets" health camp, located five kilometers from Vitebsk. On December 16, among the first guests at the opening ceremony of the Pridvinskaya Residence of Ded Moroz, children from orphanages and family-type homes of the Vitebsk District are expected.
Children and teenagers, together with fairy-tale characters dressed as traffic police inspectors, will participate in "Fixies' Safe Adventures in the New Year Forest". "The main venue has already been transformed. The forest area, where everyone will go through a quest on traffic rules knowledge, track down the rule-breaking Baba Yaga, and repair a traffic light and a real police car, has acquired a magical appearance and is equipped according to the organizers' concept," noted Alexander Kazyuchits.
In addition to the main fairy-tale adventure, guests of the celebration will be able to participate in toy-crossing (toy exchange, held by analogy with bookcrossing), have tea with pancakes, visit Ded Moroz's workshop and a special photo zone, and try on the uniform of a young traffic inspector.
And as promised by the State Traffic Inspectorate, no one will leave without positive emotions and gifts. Ded Moroz will ensure this.
The Pridvinskaya Residence of Ded Moroz will be open until January 10. Guests, including those with group bookings, are welcome from 11:00 to 17:00. Performances begin at 11:00, 13:00, and 15:00.
