The Head of Vitebsk Customs, Sergey Linkevich, accompanied by the Director of the Vitebsk Branch of RUP Beltamožservis, Konstantin Chernoguzov, visited the Educational Institution "Novopolotsk State Olympic Reserve School". During the visit, they familiarised themselves with the training conditions for future champions and observed how sports skills and values are being cultivated among the younger generation.
One of the main objectives of the visit was the official unveiling of a motivational banner, sponsored by RUP Beltamožservis. This banner is dedicated to a student of the weightlifting department, an outstanding young athlete – Daniil Zayko, the European Youth Weightlifting Champion (U15). Daniil, born in 2010, has already managed to win significant awards, becoming not only the silver medalist at the European Championships held in Madrid in the summer of 2025 in the "snatch" and "clean and jerk" disciplines, but also securing gold in the total.
Supporting talented athletes like Daniil is an important aspect for the development of sports in our region. We are confident that with such support, young people will be able to move towards new heights and achieve great success on the international stage.
