Activists of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union (BRSM) from Lepel visited the republican sports festival "Olimpiya". The first secretary of the district organization of BRSM, Tatyana Shcherbach, and her husband Konstantin, as well as Pavel Zanko, were part of the Vitebsk team. Our participants returned from this competition with good results: third place among 19 teams. There were also victories in individual contests. For example, representatives of the Vitebsk region were unmatched in the obstacle course and tug-of-war. In park volleyball, they took second place. And in the bivouac competition, which assessed not only the campsite's amenities but also its design, they came in third.
The Lepel participants took part in "Olimpiya" for the first time. Undoubtedly, these three days in the tent camp on the bank of the Isloch River in the Volozhin district will be remembered by them for a long time.
