February 26, Minsk /BELTA/. All state bodies and organizations of Belarus must switch to electronic document management in 2015, said Deputy Director - Head of the Information Systems Operation Department of the National Center for Electronic Services (NCES) Sergey Rudnev to a BELTA correspondent.

According to Sergey Rudnev, decisions have been made in the country for the full-scale implementation of electronic document management, which allows for the exchange of organizational and administrative documents between all state bodies and state organizations. A phased transition to electronic document management is envisaged: by January 1, 2015 – higher state bodies, judicial bodies, republican bodies of state administration, regional and Minsk city executive committees, state organizations subordinate to the President and the government; by January 1, 2016 – all state bodies and other state organizations.

As noted at the NCES, considering the scale and complexity of the task, active work is underway to create a range of electronic document management services using cloud technologies based on existing systems in the country. "This will allow service customers to choose the specific system that is necessary for automating document management in their company," explained Sergey Rudnev.

The first two electronic document management services have already been put into operation, implementing functions for interaction with the interdepartmental electronic document management system (SMDO) and MailGov email. This service is designed to automate document management and archival storage of documents for organizations of any type and form of ownership by building an electronic document management system (SED) based on the components and modules of the SED "Deloproizvodstvo", "Arkhivnoye delo" and "Obrashcheniya grazhdan" and located on the infrastructure and resources of the NCES.
