In Belarus, during the autumn period of increased incidence, all necessary medications will be available in pharmacies at an affordable price. This was stated by the Minister of Health, Valery Malashko, on the ONT television channel, according to BELTA.

"I have no doubt that all necessary medicinal preparations will be available in the pharmacy network – both state-owned and non-state-owned," the minister said. Regarding pricing policy, he noted that approximately 36% of medicinal preparations produced in Belarus are priced at less than $1 equivalent, and 25% are priced up to $2.

Speaking about the healthcare system as a whole, Valery Malashko pointed out that it fulfills all its functions and obligations. "We have a good staff, a good material and technical base. At the same time, while developing high technologies, we must pay special attention to the primary link – the first line where the doctor and patient meet. We need to work even more on this line, including equipping it," the minister believes.
