On September 24, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. The World Day of Sobriety will be celebrated at the Alley of Sobriety in the Gluboksky district, BELTA correspondent was told at the Roman Catholic Parish of St. Anne in the village of Mosar, Gluboksky district. This year marks the fifth anniversary of the Alley of Sobriety. In 2007, it was founded by the late Father Juozas Bulka together with a group of anonymous alcoholics. Since then, it has become a good tradition in Mosar to hold the Day of Sobriety every first Saturday of October. This year, on October 6, the parish invites everyone who wishes to pray before the relics of Saint Justin for the sobriety of families and youth. All those who wish can take part in tidying up the Alley of Sobriety and meet with members of anonymous alcoholics groups. It is worth noting that the fight against drunkenness in Mosar is not a one-off event. Every second Sunday of the month, a prayer for sobriety is held in the church. Since 2008, Mosar has been declared a sobriety zone. A year ago, local authorities held a Week of Sobriety in the Gluboksky district. -0-
