Meeting of Library Staff

On the eve of the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia, a video conference meeting was held at the Lepel Central District Library with colleagues from Leninsk-Kuznetsk, Kemerovo Region, Russian Federation.

This is a vivid example of how libraries today act not only as keepers of books but also as centers for intercultural dialogue.

The meeting participants learned about the history, culture, and modern appearance of the cities, and the culmination of the event was a video presentation prepared by the staff of the central district library of Lepel.

Guests from Russia were able not only to hear about the city on Lake Lepel but also to see its picturesque views, architectural monuments, and cozy streets thanks to the carefully selected video sequence.

Such events not only broaden the professional horizons of library specialists but also serve to strengthen spiritual ties between fraternal peoples, emphasizing the importance of common historical roots and cultural values.
