The technical regulations of the Customs Union "On requirements for motor and aviation gasoline, diesel and marine fuel, jet fuel and fuel oil" have entered into force, BELTA was informed by the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission. These technical regulations establish mandatory requirements for motor and aviation gasoline, diesel and marine fuel, jet fuel and fuel oil, which are released for circulation within the customs territory of the Customs Union. "Taking into account world practice, a transition period has been established, allowing for the production and release for circulation of products in accordance with the mandatory requirements previously established by regulatory legal acts of the Customs Union or the legislation of the CU member states until 30 June 2014, provided that documents for the assessment (confirmation) of product compliance with the said mandatory requirements were issued or accepted before the entry into force of the fuel technical regulations," the press service noted. The circulation of such products is permitted within the shelf life of the products established in accordance with the legislation of a CU member state. With the entry into force of the technical regulations "On requirements for motor and aviation gasoline, diesel and marine fuel, jet fuel and fuel oil," the issuance or acceptance of documents for the assessment (confirmation) of product compliance with mandatory requirements previously established by regulatory legal acts of the Customs Union or the legislation of the CU member states is not permitted. In order to implement these technical regulations, by the decisions of the EEC Board of 25 December 2012, a program for the development (amendment, revision) of interstate standards has been approved, the application of which voluntarily ensures compliance with the requirements of the technical regulations, as well as a list of products for which the submission of a customs declaration is accompanied by the presentation of a document for the assessment (confirmation) of compliance with the requirements of the technical regulations.
