According to him, ninth-grade graduates are admitted based on the average score of their general basic education certificate for all specialities, except for those requiring entrance examinations (creative specialities, sports specialities). Eleventh-grade graduates take two compulsory entrance examinations in academic subjects in the form of CT (Centralized Testing).
"This year, 111 colleges and 86 educational institutions implementing secondary vocational education programmes are admitting students. As of August 13, 34.1 thousand people have been admitted for studies, including 23.8 thousand people funded by the budget. The admission campaign will conclude on August 17," he stated.
This year, secondary vocational education institutions are admitting applicants for 151 specialities. "The most in-demand specialities among applicants are in the healthcare sector, certain areas of engineering and technology, and IT profiles. Here, the competition reaches several applicants per place. The 'Molodechno State Polytechnic College' branch of the Republican Institute of Vocational Education is conducting enrollment for the speciality 'Grain Storage and Processing' for the first time this year, and the N.A. Kedyshko Minsk State College of Decorative and Applied Arts will now offer training in the speciality 'Visual Merchandising'," Sergey Kasperovich specified.
The acceptance of documents for part-time secondary vocational education in specialities within the "Agriculture" education field will be carried out from October 1 to November 30.
