It pays off. The Vitebsk region must be dotted with such production facilities," said the head of state.

The Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve is involved in forestry activities, among others. Annually, 100 thousand cubic meters of wood are harvested here from all types of logging. Reforestation is carried out on an area of over 120 hectares. The development of woodworking has become a logical continuation of this activity.

The meeting between the President and the residents of the pristine Berezinsky region was held in one breath: "Many things here surprised me, I'll tell you honestly, although I've been working for more than one year. You are in the center of this huge forest massif, I flew here by helicopter - forests all around - and here is such a gem. Our main task is where there is an opportunity to build these centers, and somewhere to preserve them, we will direct funds there to build and preserve them."

Belarus will not get involved in a war unless there is aggression from outside. This was stated by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during his conversation with local residents while visiting the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve.

"There is demand for us (for what Belarus has and what the country knows how to produce). But now the times are so unclear, unknown, that we must endure. We must withstand this time. If we endure, our children will live. If we don't endure, we will plunge into this abyss. More than fifty conflicts and wars in the world. We would not want to participate in the 51st. But the fact that we do not want to fight, that we will not get involved in this war, if we are not touched, I promise you this. This is precisely the main task of the President and the government," said the head of state.
