Overcoming this milestone gives confidence that heights can be reached through diligence. This mark was recently achieved by combine operators of the "Bobrova-Agro" branch of the closed joint-stock company "Vitebskagraroprodukt", Anatoly Petukhovsky and Yevgeny Karaga. The investments made in the enterprise at the time have enabled the acquisition of modern equipment, which significantly contributes to achieving high results during the harvest.
To congratulate the frontrunners, the Chairman of the District Executive Committee Mikhail Kisielewicz, the First Deputy Chairman – Head of the Agriculture and Food Department Igor Moroz, and the Director of the "Lepel" branch of CJSC "Vitebskagraroprodukt" Igor Taran arrived.
"The 'Bobrova-Agro' branch is the benchmark, the example that agricultural organizations in our district, and perhaps even further, in the republic, should follow for development," noted Mikhail Kisielewicz. "In 2016, when the bankruptcy procedure of KUVSHGP 'Bobrova' was carried out, we were all at a crossroads: where to go, how to proceed without losing land, without losing production potential. This branch was created, and as subsequent work has shown, it was the most correct decision. Production processes were optimized, the work culture improved, and now the equipment is being updated, a 'New Holland' combine has been purchased and is being successfully used, on which this excellent production result was achieved. You know, while preparing for my visit here, I familiarised myself with some historical information. According to it, for about twenty years, KUVSHGP 'Bobrova' could not even talk about any record threshed grain yields. The farm did not have a single thousand-tonner, although thousands of hectares were sown every year. I wish you, the field workers, not to rest on your laurels, but to confidently lead your farm to new and new successes."
