Second stage of the republican campaign "Don't burn your life!"

As part of the second stage of the republican campaign "Don't Burn Your Life Away!", the Head of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, Lieutenant Colonel of the Internal Service Valentin Eduardovich Lovets, held meetings with the work collectives of the Lepel branch of ZAO "Vitebskagroproduct" and the State Institution "Lepel Military Sanatorium of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus".

As part of the second stage of the republican campaign "Don't Burn Your Life Away!", the Head of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, Lieutenant Colonel of the Internal Service Valentin Eduardovich Lovets, held meetings with the work collectives of the Lepel branch of ZAO "Vitebskagroproduct" and the State Institution "Lepel Military Sanatorium of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus". During the meetings, the operational situation in the district and region was presented, with examples of fires caused by careless handling of fire while smoking while intoxicated, which became the main topic of discussion with the organisations' employees. The Head of the Department also noted that for this reason, two people had died in fires in the district this year. The causes of fires in homes and workplaces were also highlighted. The collectives were reminded of the need to install autonomous fire alarms in their homes, with examples of lives saved as a result of their activation. In addition to discussions and answers to questions of interest, employees of the aforementioned organisations were shown the films "The Price of a Moment" and "Not Child's Play", after which there was no one indifferent in the hall to the problem of leaving children unattended. It was pleasing to observe how smoking employees of the enterprises seriously considered giving up this harmful habit.
