The international scientific, technical, and investment forum "Petrochemicals-2019" will be held from October 16-18 at the Belarusian State Technological University, BELTA was informed by the press service of the Belneftekhim concern.
During these days, it is planned to hold an international scientific and technical conference "State and Prospects for the Development of the Chemical and Oil and Gas Chemical Complex", an exhibition of innovative products, scientific and technical developments, and investment projects in the field of chemical technologies and oil and gas refining, and a round table on investment financing with the participation of banking and other financial structures. A contact and cooperation exchange of scientific and technical developments and investment proposals, as well as a competition for innovative projects by young scientists, will also take place.
The aim of the forum is to stimulate contacts and the exchange of scientific and technical achievements among specialists working in the chemical and oil and gas chemical complex.
The event is organised by BSTU with the support of the Belneftekhim concern and the Ministry of Education. It is expected that the CIS Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, the National Academy of Sciences, the State Committee on Science and Technology, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Industry, the National Agency of Investment and Privatisation, and the Bellehprom concern will participate in its organisation.
Representatives from Belarus, Russia, Latvia, Romania, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Belgium, Lithuania, Iran, Slovakia, and Poland took part in the first international scientific and technical forum "Petrochemicals", held in November last year. Belneftekhim organisations presented samples of new products. Scientific organisations and educational institutions of the republic presented the results of technology development for chemical and petrochemical industries, as well as solutions to environmental problems in the petrochemical complex.
