“Good day! A little less than two months ago, I wrote to you regarding Karalenka Street. And today I am speechless… except for words of gratitude! I don't know if you contributed to the repair of this street or not, but personally, I still can't get enough of the new surface!
One quickly gets used to the even and smooth asphalt, and the old "road" is now remembered like a terrible nightmare. In any case, thank you to both you and the road workers.”
The new asphalt surface on the section of Karalenka Street from the Yubileynaya shop was laid by road workers from DRBU-202. 575 tons of asphalt-concrete mixture were used, new asphalt was laid on 610 meters of the road, and pothole repair was carried out on the remaining part of the street. Two bus stops with a total area of 150 square meters were reconstructed, and an asphalt extension of the street at the junction with Polotsk Tract was laid – another 70 square meters.
A lot of diverse road construction equipment worked at the site: a grader, an asphalt paver, three rollers, a milling machine on an MTZ-80 tractor chassis, and three MAZ trucks delivered the asphalt-concrete mixture. Asphalt paver Alexander Misnik and roller operator Sergey Pruski once again proved themselves to be excellent professionals.
A total of 364.4 million rubles were spent on the repair of Karalenka Street.
Vasily MATYRKA.
