Belarusian higher education institutions will start accepting documents from applicants on July 12. This stage of the admission campaign will last until July 17, according to BELTA.

The acceptance of documents from applicants who have decided to enroll on a fee-paying basis and will not take entrance examinations directly at the higher education institutions will be conducted from July 12 to August 4. Slightly different deadlines are set in this case for law enforcement and creative higher education institutions - July 12-31 and July 12 - August 2, respectively.

Graduates of specialised classes of pedagogical orientation, who are applying for pedagogical specialities, can submit documents from July 12 to July 14. Applicants for part-time places in agricultural higher education institutions will be accepted last - from November 15 to December 5.

In total, in 2019, it is planned to admit 54.7 thousand people to higher education institutions in Belarus, which is 1% more than last year's admission plan. It is expected that 26.6 thousand people will become students on a state-funded basis, which is 0.7% higher than the 2018 admission plan. The intake for medical, IT specialities, as well as physical education and sports specialities has been increased.

Higher education institutions intend to admit 28.2 thousand people on a fee-paying basis, which is 1.5% higher than last year's admission plan due to IT specialities and physical education and sports specialities.

49 higher education institutions will be accepting documents, of which 42 are state-owned and 7 are private.

Internal entrance examinations will be held from July 18 to July 26, and from December 6 to December 15 - in agricultural higher education institutions. Enrollment deadlines for state-funded places are by July 28 (with the exception of military higher education institutions), on a fee-paying basis - by August 6 (with the exception of some military and cultural higher education institutions).
