A ban on visiting reservoirs has been introduced!

Based on the directive of the Lepel District Executive Committee dated January 24, 2020, No. 15r, and in connection with the prevailing and forecast weather conditions, as well as for the purpose of protecting the life and health of the population, a ban on small vessels entering Lake Lepelskoe, Lake Voron, Lake Teklits, Lake Okono, Lake Lyukshino, and Lake Zhezhilino has been imposed from January 28, 2020, until further notice.

Since the beginning of the year, 6 people have already drowned in the Vitebsk region.

Rescuers appeal to all residents of the Lepel region, especially to winter fishing enthusiasts, and strongly urge them to refrain from going out on rivers, lakes, and other bodies of water during this very dangerous period. Pay special attention to the behaviour of minors near water bodies.
