14 February, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. The gross domestic product of Belarus for January 2011 increased by 7.4% compared to the same period last year, the National Statistical Committee informed BELTA.
In accordance with the forecast of socio-economic development, GDP in 2011 should reach 109-110% of the 2010 level.
Industrial production in the first month of the year grew by 6.4% and amounted to Br14.97 trillion (annual growth forecast - 9-9.5%).
Investment growth for January 2011 was 134.1% and reached Br3.103 trillion.-0-
