This was discussed at the final meeting of the board of the Department of Sports and Tourism of the Regional Executive Committee.

"Olympic medals are very significant and pleasant," noted Vyacheslav Durnov, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee. "At the same time, great attention must be paid to the work of children's and youth sports schools. All our sports officials must understand that if their diplomas say 'Coach-Educator', then they must nurture a personality, a patriot of their country."

Representatives of the sports and tourism sector of the Lepel District Executive Committee also took part in the meeting.

The region noted the high-quality work and excellent results of the Lepel district in 2024, including the establishment of a new organization – the State Institution "Lepel Tourist Information Center", and, of course, the opening of a physical culture and recreation center with a swimming pool.
