Young patriots of Lepel district were brought together by the republican military-patriotic event "Ready to Serve the Motherland".
The district House of Culture became the main venue for the event.
Participants of the event included representatives of the district executive committee, servicemen, representatives of the Military Academy of the Republic of Belarus and military faculties of civilian universities, and students of educational institutions of Lepel district.
The meeting began with an exhibition of military equipment and gear.

Guests were welcomed by Svetlana Shevelyova, Head of the Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the district executive committee. She spoke about the work on military-patriotic education in Lepel district, and noted the worldview, ideological, legal, political, and informational nature of the events held.
Colonel Andrey Pavlushchik, Head of the Department of Military Education, also addressed the young people. He stated that he had dedicated his entire life to the Armed Forces and had no regrets. Andrey Alexandrovich spoke about the specialities that can be obtained in military educational institutions and military faculties not only in the Republic of Belarus but also in the Russian Federation.
Education in military faculties is conducted at a high level and provides young people with the opportunity to develop in all areas, express themselves through hobbies, creativity, and sports.
Talents are always visible! And today, the cadets demonstrated theirs in their concert performances.
"It was a pleasure to see schoolchildren in military uniform in the hall of the Lepel District House of Culture," said Colonel Andrey Pavlushchik, Head of the Department of Military Education, referring to the "Kanonir" club of the Borovaya secondary school of Lepel district.
