A spot check was carried out by the Supervision and Prevention Inspectorate of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations (ROChS) at the agricultural workshop of OJSC "Minsk Gear Plant".
During the inspection, it was established that the facility does not comply with the requirements for the maintenance and quantity of primary fire extinguishing agents and fire water supply systems, as well as general fire safety requirements for the facility.
An evacuation drill for fire or other emergency situations was conducted with the staff of the institution, along with briefings on fire safety regulations.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire prevention measures within their respective organizations.
