On September 26, Minsk /Elena Prus - BELTA/. An outreach reception for citizens on labor and pension legislation will be held today in Shumilino, Vitebsk region. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the press secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, Varvara Alexandrovich.
The outreach reception will take place at the Shumilino District Executive Committee from 11:00 to 14:00 for residents of the urban-type settlement of Shumilino, and Shumilino, Gorodok and Beshenkovichi districts. The reception will be conducted by Olga Yagello, Head of the Legal Support and Supervision Department of the State Labor Inspectorate of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, State Labor Inspector, and Natalia Arnaut, Chief Specialist of the Pension Provision Organization Department of the Main Department of Pension Provision and Social Insurance of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
During the personal reception of citizens, a direct telephone line will also be organized. Questions and suggestions can be submitted on the same day by calling 8(02130)4-10-45 from 11:00 to 14:00.
"Any resident has the right to contact the outreach reception to resolve issues of concern related to labor legislation and pension provision," noted Varvara Alexandrovich. "Each appeal is considered with the utmost attention."
All applicants receive qualified consultations from specialists on issues of contract employment systems, salary payment deadlines, vacations, hiring and dismissal, labor protection, remuneration, as well as on pension provision and social insurance. During the reception, appeals are given a professional legal assessment, mechanisms for resolving the issues are determined, and citizens are promptly assisted in solving a particular problem.
The "Mobile Reception-2012" campaign was held in January for residents of Berestovitsa and Svisloch districts of Grodno region, in February – for residents of Dokshytsy, Postavy, Ushachy districts of Vitebsk region, in March – for residents of Minsk and Dzerzhinsk districts of Minsk region, in April – for residents of Ivacevichi and Pruzhany districts of Brest region, in May – for residents of Mstislavl, Cherikov and Dribin districts of Mogilev region, in June – for residents of Rogachev, Korma, Zhlobin districts of Gomel region and Kirovsk district of Mogilev region, in July – for residents of Borisov city, Borisov and Krupki districts, as well as Zhodino city, in August – for residents of Grodno and Grodno district.
This form of work with citizens – with the participation of ministry specialists and media representatives – has proven to be highly effective and in demand among the population. The project was launched in March 2007. Last year, 12 mobile receptions were held, and 167 citizens received legal assistance (in 2010, 105 people were received during nine stages of the campaign). Since the fourth quarter of 2011, the mobile reception has been held jointly with "Narodnaya Gazeta" and Belteleradiocompany. In addition, the campaign's scope has been expanded: now citizens and employer representatives can receive consultations not only on labor and occupational safety legislation, but also on pension provision and state social support for the population.
