The payment of financial assistance for the purchase of agricultural products in the Vitebsk region will begin on September 21, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Natalia Khval, told a BELTA correspondent. In particular, about 300 thousand unemployed pensioners and benefit recipients will receive financial assistance in the amount of Br500 thousand. The total amount of financial support provided to these categories of the population in the region will exceed Br140 billion. Payments will be made until October 1. "In the context of rising prices, this is serious and timely support for the population, which once again demonstrates the state's concern for its citizens," emphasized Natalia Khval.
