30 May, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. Vitebsk graduates will celebrate the end of school with a grand concert at the Summer Amphitheatre, BELTA was informed at the "Vitebsk" Cultural Centre. The festive event will bring together high school students today after the last morning assemblies. The concert "Last Bell" will feature performances by the "Park" disco, "Prostory" Song Theatre, "Zorka" Choreographic Ensemble, "Lyavonikha" and "Yegoza" Dance Ensembles, "Sensatsiya" Show Ballet, "Mozaika" Ballroom Dance Ensemble, and "Forum" Pop Song Studio (collectives of the "Vitebsk" Cultural Centre), as well as special guests Ivan Vabishchevich, Yazhevika, Konstantin Legostaev, and the "Geroi" band. The end of the academic year will not pass without a vibrant celebration for primary and middle school students either. The cheerful theatrical concert programme "Class Hour" will gather them at the city's main concert venue on 31 May. In the concluding academic year, the "Last Bell" in the Vitebsk region will sound for 7,966 eleventh-graders and 10,903 young men and women receiving a basic education diploma, BELTA was informed at the education department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. The students will celebrate the end of school on 9-11 June. Graduation balls will be organised at educational institutions and cultural centres. In September, approximately 6,000 first-graders will fill the now-empty desks. -0-
