Graduation ceremonies with the presentation of certificates of general secondary education will take place on June 9 or 10. Traditionally, they will be held at schools, gymnasiums, and lyceums. In some cases, the graduation ceremony may be held at institutions of additional education for children and youth, and cultural institutions.
The specific date and venue will be determined by a decision made by the head of the general secondary education institution, with the participation of the parents' committee and in agreement with the local executive and administrative body.
Traditionally, representatives of legislative and executive authorities, public associations, and sponsoring organizations will attend the ceremonies. Great attention will be paid to ensuring public order and the safety of event participants, for which duty rosters will be established throughout the country during the graduation ceremonies.
The academic year will end on May 31. The last bell for students of the IX and XI grades of general secondary education institutions will ring on May 30. Graduation exams upon completion of education and upbringing at the II and III levels of general secondary education will be held from June 1 to June 10 (for minority languages in the IX grade - May 24, in the XI grade - May 25). Written exams in academic subjects will begin at 9 a.m.
The first centralized testing exam (in the Belarusian language) will be held on June 12.
