The revenue from the sale of state property at auctions in the Vitebsk region for the first seven months amounted to over Br14 billion, the "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" fund informed a BELTA correspondent. In January-July of the current year, the "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" fund, the Economic Court of the Vitebsk Region, KKP "Vitebsk Regional Marketing Center", RUP "Vitebsk Institute of Real Estate and Valuation" announced 114 auctions, with over 400 properties put up for tender. 326 properties of state-owned enterprises, OJSCs with a share of communal property and regional consumer unions were involved in economic activities. In August of the current year, the "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" fund sold 35 real estate properties at successful auctions for Br149 million, with 33 properties being offered at an initial sale price of one basic unit each. As noted by the fund, September began with successful bidding. Three properties of regional communal ownership, managed by KUPP "Obolsky Ceramic Plant" and located in Novopolotsk, were sold at prices exceeding the initial sale prices by 5.5 times, for a total sum of Br130.2 million. Another three properties of communal ownership in Orsha, managed by KUP "OrshaVodokanal", were sold using the method of reducing initial prices during the auction for a total sum of Br237 million. Unused real estate, managed by RUP "VitebskEnergo" and located in the Vitebsk region, was sold at a price exceeding the initial sale price by 5%, for a total sum of Br425 million.
