Over three days, the "Belarus Intellectual" exhibition in Vitebsk was visited by more than 40,000 people from across the region. This was announced at the summing-up of the large-scale event by the Deputy Chairperson of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Anzhelika Nikitina.

More than 20 enterprises, organizations, and educational institutions from the northern region supplemented the main exposition of the "Belarus Intellectual" exhibition and presented about 100 projects. As Anzhelika Nikitina noted, this was only a part of the scientific and innovative potential of the region that could be accommodated at the football arena of the Vitebsk Central Sports Complex and its adjacent territory. "Over three days, the 'Belarus Intellectual' exhibition in Vitebsk was visited by more than 40,000 people. We are pleased that this exhibition is in high demand, and everyone wants to learn about the future of our country. It is gratifying that there are many young people here, they are interested in what the country is doing, in the developments of scientists and our enterprises. When you get acquainted with the developments presented at the university sites, you notice the intellect and competence of our young scientists," emphasized the Deputy Chairperson of the Regional Executive Committee.

For three days in Vitebsk, there was literally a celebration of Belarusian science. "I think we have achieved our goal – the popularization of Belarusian science. I hope that everyone who visited the exhibition was able to see for themselves that our science is no worse than in other countries, we have something to be proud of and something to show. The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, which organized the 'Belarus Intellectual' exhibition, could not have done it alone. All this happened thanks to the coordinated joint work of many people. For the opportunity to present the achievements of Belarusian science to the general public, as well as for the constant support of the scientific sphere in our country, I would like to thank President Alexander Lukashenko, on whose initiative this exhibition is held in the regions. For the incredible hospitality, I would like to thank the head of the Vitebsk region, Alexander Subbotin, and everyone involved in organizing this exhibition," expressed his gratitude the Chief Scientific Secretary of the NAS, Vasily Gursky, emphasizing that the departments and volunteers provided great assistance.

The exhibition will continue its tour to the Grodno and Brest regions, where scientific and innovative developments of enterprises and organizations from these regions will also be presented.
