A one-day exhibition "New Year Collectors' Meet-up" will be held in Vitebsk on December 15, ahead of the Christmas and New Year holidays, as reported to a BELTA correspondent by Elena Chernykh, Director of the cultural and historical complex "Golden Ring of the City of Vitebsk 'Dvina'".

The exhibition will bring together hundreds of various items, including postcards, stamps, badges, and much more. It is expected that 40-50 collectors will attend, not only from the regions of Belarus but also guests from Russia (Smolensk and St. Petersburg). Among the exhibits are items from the 20th-21st centuries.

For a few hours, the exhibition hall will transform into a vast space where items featuring New Year characters (postcards and stamps) and cartoon heroes can be seen. Participants will also bring rare banknotes and coins. "Around 100 prizes will be raffled for children. Collectors will present some items from their collections as gifts," noted Elena Chernykh.

The exhibition will be open on December 15 from 10:00 to 14:00.

An amateur collectors' club operates at the "Golden Ring of the City of Vitebsk 'Dvina'" cultural and historical complex. They hold meet-ups several times a year for those passionate about collecting various items. The theme of the exhibited items changes depending on the occasion (Defender of the Fatherland Day, Victory Day, etc.).
