In his speech, Valentin Eduardovich informed about the current operational situation in the republic, the region, and the district, and outlined the main causes of fires. In addition, issues of fires caused by careless handling of fire while smoking were discussed, as over 90% of fire fatalities were intoxicated and smoking in bed. Fire incidents in residential buildings due to improper maintenance of stove and gas heating, and electrical equipment were also discussed. Issues of compliance with fire safety requirements at the enterprise and the necessity of equipping personal living spaces with autonomous fire alarms were touched upon. He specifically addressed the issue of child fatalities and injuries, citing tragic examples of fires in the republic this year. Valentin Eduardovich pointed out that the majority of accidents occur due to adult carelessness and improper fulfillment of parental responsibilities. At the end of the meeting, the head of the department answered questions of interest.
