Valentin Eduardovich Lovets, Head of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations (ROChS), delivered presentations to the workforces of OJSC "Lepelsky MKK" and KUPP "Borovka".

In the course of the discussions, Valentin Eduardovich familiarised attendees with the operational situation regarding fires and fatalities resulting from them, noting an increase in the number of fires and deaths in the region. The issue of fire safety rules compliance during the operation of stove heating and electrical equipment was addressed, as was the necessity of maintaining fire alarm devices in good working order. He informed the employees on the correct use of gas appliances, electrical devices, and primary fire extinguishing equipment. Given the current weather conditions, he reminded citizens about the timely clearing of snow from the roofs of their homes and how to behave during icy conditions. The issue of child safety was also raised, with the Head of the Department urging attendees not to leave children unattended.
