8 July, Baku /Olga Belyavskaya - BELTA/. The Belarusian ruble may reach an equilibrium exchange rate in all segments of the foreign exchange market in the near future. This was stated today by the Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich at a meeting with the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasi-zade, as reported by a BELTA correspondent. Speaking about the economic situation in Belarus, the head of government noted that the economy is operating stably and the number of jobs is growing. "Yes, we are experiencing some difficulties in the foreign exchange market, but I think all these issues will be resolved," he said. Mikhail Myasnikovich added that systemic shortcomings have not been allowed in the Belarusian economy. "We have no issues in the production sector and in the social sphere. As for issues with net importers and conversion, I think we will cope in the near future and reach an equilibrium exchange rate of the Belarusian ruble in all segments of the foreign exchange market," he stressed. According to the Prime Minister, most of the problematic issues should be resolved during the summer, so that the heating season can be approached with a balanced foreign exchange market. -0-
