May 21, Vitebsk /Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. Tickets for concerts by Andrey Danilko, Lev Leshchenko, Vladimir Vinokur, and Sergey Penkin have become bestsellers at the XXI International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk," the festival directorate informed a BELTA correspondent.
According to the results of the first three days of sales, the most purchased events were "Verka Serduchka Show" by Andrey Danilko's theatre, Lev Leshchenko's benefit performance featuring popular Russian, Belarusian, and Ukrainian artists alongside the jubilee performer, Vladimir Vinokur's parody theatre's humour evening, and Sergey Penkin's concert program "Take My Love With You".
Despite the fact that the majority of spectators still prefer to purchase tickets at concert box offices, online purchasing options are expanding. In addition to the international company Ticketpro, the company kvitki.by has also begun ticket distribution. Tickets can be purchased on the websites of these sales operators. According to Ticketpro, last year alone, they sold over 10,000 tickets for "Slavianski Bazaar" concerts, with 12% sold outside Belarus. Among the most active foreign online buyers were Russians and residents of the Baltic states. Purchases were also recorded in the United Kingdom.
Ticket sales for other festival projects, which will take place in the "Vitebsk" Concert Hall, the Philharmonic Hall, and the theatre, will start on May 25.
Ticket prices for festival events range from Br20,000 to Br750,000. The most expensive tickets are for the grand opening concert: from Br460,000 to Br750,000. Attendance at solo concerts in the Summer Amphitheatre will cost from Br160,000 to Br300,000, and for mixed concerts – from Br80,000 to Br180,000. Prices at the "Vitebsk" Concert Hall are more affordable – from Br50,000 to Br150,000. Encounters with theatrical art will cost spectators from Br65,000 to Br130,000. The International Festival of Arts will be held in Vitebsk for the 21st time. This year, the grand opening will take place on July 12, and the final chord will sound on July 18. -0-
