On August 30, Minsk / Tatyana Lobas - BELTA /. All regions of Belarus have fulfilled the state order for grain sales. Over the past weekend, the farms of the Brest region also completed their task, having transferred 165 thousand tons of grain (100%) to meet the state order. 996.3 thousand tons have been received by elevators and grain receiving enterprises, which is 100.6% of the plan. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Department of Grain Resources and Trade of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. The state order volume was fulfilled due to the over-plan supply of wheat. 542.2 thousand tons of wheat were procured, which is 112.5% of the target (the plan is 428 thousand tons). This is the most important food crop, and the quality of flour, bakery products, and pasta depends on the quality of its grain. According to specialists, the grain supplied to meet the state order will be sufficient for these purposes. In addition, 267.5 thousand tons of rye and 186.6 thousand tons of other crops were transferred to meet the state order, which is 89.2% and 89.7% of the plan, respectively. The supply of grain for state republican needs continues, as it is necessary to deliver another 32.5 thousand tons of rye and 20.8 thousand tons of other crops (mainly buckwheat and millet). Specialists clarified that the state order will be considered fully fulfilled when the positions for all planned types of grain are "closed". The largest volume of grain (over 225.2 thousand tons) was received from the farms of the Minsk region, which is 100.1% of the plan. Agricultural organizations of the Grodno region transferred 187.5 thousand tons (101.4% of the plan) to meet state republican needs. The Mogilev region supplied 151.9 thousand tons (101.3%), while the Gomel and Vitebsk regions supplied 141.6 thousand tons and 125.1 thousand tons, respectively, at 101.1% and 100.1% of the plan. -0-
