State order for grain sales is 30% fulfilled, with 305.6 thousand tonnes of new crop grain received from agricultural organisations for state republican needs, Mikhail Ryabushko, Head of the Resources and Trade Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food's Grain Products Department, told BELTA correspondent. According to the specialist, the state order this year amounts to 1 million 25 thousand tonnes of food grain and 175 thousand tonnes of rapeseed. Grain product organisations are to accept 570 thousand tonnes of wheat, 300 thousand tonnes of rye, and 155 thousand tonnes of other crops. The state order for food grain has been increased by 3.5% compared to last year. According to operational data, 187 thousand tonnes of wheat, 106.5 thousand tonnes of rye, and 12.1 thousand tonnes of other crops have already been delivered to elevators and grain reception points, which constitutes 33%, 36%, and 7.8% of the plan, respectively. In terms of grain delivery rates to the state, farms in Vitebsk and Minsk regions are leading, having supplied 43.9 thousand tonnes and 76.3 thousand tonnes respectively for the state order, fulfilling their plans by 32.5% and 32%. Mogilev region enterprises have supplied 47.5 thousand tonnes to the state, fulfilling their state order by 29.7%. Agricultural organisations in Gomel and Brest regions have supplied 37.3 thousand tonnes and 45.7 thousand tonnes of grain for the state order, which accounted for 28.7% and 28.6% of the target, respectively. Grodno region has fulfilled its plan by 27.5%, shipping 54.9 thousand tonnes of grain for the state order. According to the specialist's assessment, the quality of the new crop grain, in terms of gluten content and specific weight, is no worse than last year's. Deliveries under the state order are under special control of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, and heads of agricultural organisations bear personal responsibility. In total, 504 thousand tonnes have been delivered to elevators and grain reception points, including tolling grain and grain accepted for safekeeping. Grain product organisations plan to procure and simultaneously store over 3 million tonnes of grain and rapeseed, which is 500 thousand tonnes more than last year. In addition to the state order for food grain, procurement organisations of the grain products department accept grain for mutual settlements, tolling purposes, etc. 390 thousand tonnes have been received in settlement for purchased mixed feeds, and 13 thousand tonnes of grain have been directly accepted from enterprises merged with agricultural organisations.
