On June 22, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo – BELTA /. Artistic groups and performers from Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine, and Estonia will take part in the XIX International Festival of Song and Music of the Dnieper Region of Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine "Dnieper Voices in Dubrovno", as reported to BELTA correspondent by the Dubrovno District Executive Committee. The festival will begin on June 22, and its participants will commemorate the fallen in the Great Patriotic War at a memorial rally at the "Rylenki" memorial complex. In the evening, the district culture house will host "From Us Who Did Not See the War," featuring songs of the war years. The Day of Mourning will conclude with a torchlight procession and the ceremony of lighting and launching candles and a garland of remembrance onto the water. Over the next two days, the town will transform into a vast stage. It will accommodate not only musicians and dancers but also artists, folk craft masters, local chefs, and even medieval knights. The grand opening of the XIX International Festival "Dnieper Voices in Dubrovno" and a concert showcasing the participating groups are scheduled for June 23. A grand procession of all festival guests on June 24 will precede the festival's gala concert featuring artistic groups and performers from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Slovakia, and Moldova. The festival will conclude with "Syabroŭski Fest" – a friendly gathering of participating groups in Kireevskaya Grove. The Dubrovno festival attracts an increasing number of participants each year and has long since expanded beyond groups from Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine. This year, for the first time, the folk folklore dance ensemble "Svet Sava" from Serbia took part in the folk art celebration. -0-
