Following tradition, the annual gathering of young rescuers and firefighters was held in the Lepel district, with schoolchildren from various educational institutions of the Lepel district participating.
The event began with a general assembly and the solemn opening of the gathering.The first test for the young rescuers was the "Marching Review" competition. The children demonstrated their drill training to the jury, enthusiastically shouted slogans, and sang marching songs.
In the "Firefighting CrossFit" and "Combat Deployment" competitions, the young rescuers showcased their firefighting skills, speed, and agility, carried out combat deployment, and donned firefighter rescue gear at speed.
In the "Connoisseurs" competition, participants had to answer 30 questions related to life safety within 30 minutes.
Next, the children had the opportunity to express themselves creatively. Each team was given a homework assignment to prepare a creative musical performance about the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers and Firefighters. During the competition, the activists danced, sang, acted out scenes, and recited safety rules.
All competitions were held in a vibrant and uncompromising struggle between the competing teams.
Following the results of the gathering, the winner was the "Iskra" (Spark) team from the gymnasium of the city of Lepel, which will represent the Lepel district at the zonal stage of the gathering of young rescuers and firefighters clubs.
In addition to diplomas and commemorative prizes, the children also received a boost of positive emotions, excellent mood, and new knowledge on this day.
