A rescuer is not just a profession, it is a calling and a way of life. Those who are ready to come to the rescue at any time of the day, who are brave of heart and strong in spirit, and most importantly, are not indifferent to the misfortune of others, join the ranks of rescuers.
On December 31, at the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, the First Deputy Head of the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Andrey Vladimirovich Gavrilenko, awarded the best employees of the Lepel, Ushachi, Chashniki, and Beshenkovichi District Departments for Emergency Situations based on the results of their work in 2019.
In accordance with Order No. 141 l/s of the Ministry of Emergency Situations dated December 23, 2018, for courage and heroism shown in the line of duty, competent actions in eliminating emergency situations, and exemplary performance of official duties, 27 employees were encouraged with letters of commendation and monetary bonuses.
After the solemn part and the presentation of deserved awards, Andrey Vladimirovich reminded those present of the responsibility placed upon their shoulders.
In our difficult and turbulent times, a rescuer must be prepared to solve problems of any complexity, and for this, they must constantly improve their professionalism and skills, and work with full dedication.
