The firstborns in families numbered 26 children, the second children – 20, the third children – 18, and five families welcomed their fourth child. One family was blessed with their eighth baby!
Such large families are not common: until 2025, the eighth child was born to Lepel residents only in 2001!
Most often, girls were named Sofia, Alexandra, and Zlata, and boys – Timofey and Alexander.
Most Lepel residents became parents on average at the age of 32 for men and 29 for women. The youngest mother was 15 years old, and the young father was 19 years old. The "oldest" father celebrated his 60th birthday two weeks after his son's birth, and the "most experienced" mother was 43 years old.
