In this regard, from January 25 to February 06 of the current year, the State Automobile Inspectorate is conducting preventive measures to prevent road traffic accidents involving vulnerable road users.

We remind you that it is retroreflective elements that help drivers see pedestrians and cyclists in the dark.
It is important to attach flickers correctly – they should be clearly visible to drivers, not hidden by a bag or clothing folds.
When cycling or driving a horse-drawn vehicle on the road at night and/or in conditions of insufficient visibility, a lamp emitting white light must be switched on at the front, and a lamp emitting red light at the rear. In addition, cyclists travelling outside populated areas must wear high-visibility vests.

In turn, drivers must exercise increased caution when passing pedestrian crossings and driving on highways near populated areas.
