Today, Vasily Mayzus, Chairman of the Lepel District Organization of the Belarusian Public Association of Veterans, was bid farewell to his well-deserved retirement.
For his significant personal contribution to the development of the veteran movement, patriotic education of youth, and active participation in the life of the district, Vasily Konstantinovich was awarded a Certificate of Honour of the District Council of Deputies.
Our fellow countryman also received Letters of Gratitude from the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Public Association of Veterans, as well as from the Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the District Executive Committee.
- Vasily Konstantinovich Mayzus is an amazing person. A leader who for many years represented the interests of our veterans and promoted the highest noble ideas and goals of our state. There were no obstacles for him in solving problems. All issues were solvable.
