Today, a meeting of the medical and sanitary council was held at the central district hospital, where healthcare professionals summed up their activities for the past year and outlined tasks for the upcoming period.

The chief physician, Alexey Prokofiev, delivered a report, stating that based on the results of the work in 2025, positive outcomes were achieved in strengthening the material and technical base of the institution, fulfilling the plans for medical examinations of the adult and child population, and public satisfaction with the quality of medical services provided, among other aspects.

The team was thanked for their work in the past year, and encouraged for fruitful efforts in all areas in the new year by the Deputy Chairperson of the District Executive Committee, Veronika Khombak, and the Chief Physician of the Vitebsk Regional Clinical Center for Psychiatry and Narcology, Elena Martynova.

Veronika Alexandrovna also spoke about the main provisions of the Address of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, to the Belarusian people and the Parliament, and the seven key priorities of the new Socio-Economic Development Program for 2026-2030.
