On September 6, Vitebsk /Alena Tikhonova - BELTA/. The meeting of the Republican Council of Directors of Institutions of Additional Education for Children and Youth will be held today in Vitebsk, the education department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee informed a BELTA correspondent.
The participants of the event will discuss the tasks and prospects for the development of the additional education system in the new academic year. The discussion will focus on models of pedagogical activity in clubs and studios of artistic, ecological-biological, tourist-local history, and technical profiles.
A presentation of the additional education system of the Vitebsk region will take place. A panorama of regional experience "Open Socializing Space of Institutions of Additional Education for Children and Youth" (Polotsk, Chashniki districts, the city of Vitebsk) will be presented. A creative broadcast of advanced pedagogical experience in fostering a responsible attitude towards the use of natural resources and thrift among students, the formation of an active life position, and labor education through additional education for children and youth will be held.
At the Ilya Repin Museum-Estate "Zdravnevo", an open-air exhibition of folk art and fine arts "The Role of Plein Air Painting in Shaping the Moral and Intellectual Qualities of Students Based on the Historical and Cultural Traditions and Natural and Geographical Features of the Region" will be organized. A concert by leading creative groups of institutions of additional education for children and youth of the Vitebsk region will be held in the "Vitebsk" Concert Hall.
On September 7, participants of the meeting of the Republican Council of Directors will visit the city festival of institutions of additional education for children and youth "Territory of Childhood or Outsiders Allowed" in Orsha. The festival program includes a procession of the best groups and students, a solemn opening ceremony and a concert program, a city advertising and educational game on creative and promotional platforms of institutions of additional education for children and youth, and demonstration performances by the aviation and technical sports center.-0-News of Belarus (BELTA)
