26 November, Vitebsk /BELTA correspondent/. The total debt of taxpayers in the Vitebsk region to the budget decreased by Br2.9 billion over the month, the press center of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk region informed a BELTA correspondent.
As of November 1 of the current year, the total debt of taxpayers to the budget amounted to Br6.5 billion and decreased by Br2.9 billion rubles compared to October 1 of the current year. Legal entities of various forms of ownership account for the largest amount of debt – 99.6%. The debts of individuals – payers of property taxes amount to Br0.02 billion.
As emphasized in the press center, the elimination of debt of economic entities for tax payments remains one of the main tasks facing the tax service. In January-October of the current year, tax inspectorates of the Vitebsk region, as a result of a set of measures, recovered Br318.5 billion to the budget by force, which is 3.7% of the total budget revenue for the ten months of the current year. Among the measures taken, Br15.3 billion was written off from the current and foreign currency accounts of debtors. Br288.4 billion was attracted to the budget by writing off accounts receivable from debtor entities. In the course of mutual settlements for the debts of economic entities and the local budget, the debt on payments to the budget was reduced by Br6.9 billion. -0-
