This was announced today at a press conference by Vasily Pavlovsky, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus, in response to a question from a BELTA correspondent.
"We have indeed submitted a proposal to the Ministry of Economy to increase the purchase prices for crop agricultural products," said the Deputy Minister. He also noted that an agreement has been reached for processing enterprises to send 50% of the state order value as an advance payment to agricultural enterprises.
Prices for grain crops will be increased by 27.1-27.2% depending on the crop, for grain for alcohol production - by 2.2 times, for sugar beet root crops - by 36.8%. -0-
