The reception was held at the Lepel Post Office of RUP "Belpochta". During the reception, 6 people applied with questions concerning the possibility of the employer providing a new position to the trade union committee chairman who is retired; the content of the collective agreement; the legality of dismissal; eviction; pensionable service; and the activities of the primary trade union organization.
All citizens' applications were addressed with explanations of current legislation.

After the New Year holidays, in the afternoon, while in a state of alcoholic intoxication, with the aim of unlawfully seizing a vehicle and driving it without intent to steal, using a key that was on the table in his house in the village of Borovno, he drove from his home through the territory of the Lepel district and the town of Lepel in a "Ford Transit" car belonging to his friend.
The native of the village of Borovno decided to take his friend's car without permission to go to the town of Lepel for alcohol. In the town of Lepel, the man visited his brothers, who saw that he was intoxicated and, therefore, drove him back to the village of Borovno in the victim's car, parked the car near the victim's house, and handed the car keys to his mother. After a short time, police officers arrived. The native of the village of Borovno had no intention of stealing the car.
During the preliminary investigation and court proceedings, the native of the village of Borovno fully admitted his guilt in the committed act.
The court of Lepel District found a man guilty of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 214 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus. He was sentenced to a fine of 50 base units, amounting to 1225 rubles. Pursuant to Part 3 of Article 49 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus, an additional penalty of 120 hours of community service was imposed.
