In favourable weather conditions, places of mass recreation for citizens are very crowded. Law enforcement officers reminded that it is necessary to take into account certain rules to avoid spoiling the summer mood for yourselves and others, and to spend your leisure time without incident.
– In places of mass recreation, drinking alcoholic beverages and beer, lighting fires, and parking vehicles in green zones are prohibited. During duty, police officers will primarily focus on preventing theft, stopping the consumption of alcoholic, low-alcohol beverages and beer, lighting fires in unauthorized places, as well as the entry of vehicles into recreation areas.
The police reminded that drinking alcoholic, low-alcohol beverages or beer on beaches, in squares, parks, and public transport is subject to administrative liability and a penalty in the form of a fine of up to 8 basic units. Offensive harassment of vacationers is qualified as petty hooliganism. It entails a fine of 2 to 30 basic units, or community service, or administrative arrest. You will also have to bear responsibility for lighting fires in prohibited places – up to 12 basic units.
We remind you that there are unsafe (prohibited) places for swimming. Swimming in such places may result in a fine of one to three basic units.
– Carelessness during recreation often leads to offences and crimes against citizens. Do not leave your belongings unattended, even for a few minutes – this time is enough to commit theft and escape unnoticed. According to statistics, the most frequently stolen items are: bags, money, mobile phones, bicycles. To avoid becoming a victim of a crime, you should always keep your belongings with you or within your line of sight.
